Not really what I was expecting but not so much that I'm trying to replace it. Pretty thin.So, this does the job, but with some limitations. It will stay put under a chair with your weight but not alone. It does not grip hard wood/laminate flooring. And vacuuming, forget it. I tried and it moves too much even with the vacuum in the lowest of lows. I gave up and used a lint roller. Cats love this thing and it loves cat fur. It will work until I find something better or it wears out. I don't feel like it will have lasting durability but the price was right.The sticky material on the bottom is very strong, it pulled up the material of my floor so I flipped it over and the cloth part also pulled up the material. Maybe use it with laminate or just tile. Can't get rid of the thick wrinkle/fold lines from how it was packaged.It has a decent grip that doesn move when a chair is rolled over it. It is shorter than I expected on the width, so if I roll on it from the side (not while the chair is on the mat) it might lift it up some. The length is perfect as I can roll back in my chair in a normal capacity while I work at my desk. I do wish the width was longer to account for when I roll side-to-side. Although that is less likely than rolling back-and-forth. The mat is pretty lightweight, which is nice but if you're looking for something more heavy-duty, this is not it. For my needs it works great! Overall, I recommend the mat and for the price, it's a good value.Works as it was made for.We have vinyl plank floors with "real wood" texture feel. So our rolling work chairs were loud. We bought two of these and they work great. So much quieter. It took atleast a week to stay flat. And they do stay in place without curling up. Definitely recommend.I love this mat. My chair rolls smoothly. Very comfortable on my feet. Sure beats the hard plastic mat. I wish I would of bought this first instead of the hard plastic mat.I used this mat to warm up a cold concrete floor and it did the trick. It is nice if you are looking for a rug that is soft yet thin and supportive. Works best on a hard, smooth surface (not carpet). I didn’t get to see how well it works with a roller chair since I don’t have one.
