for some reason, i can’t lower the chair anymore. it’s just stuck. besides that the chair is amazing. It's an okay chair, but I have one issue with it. The chair does not lift very high. My old office chair raised a good 3 to 4 inches higher which felt more comfortable at my computer desk. During longer gaming sessions I am more comfortable if the chair is higher so my legs can stretch out a little more. Hopefully I'll get used to it because I like the chair overall.Package was received in only three days. Package had been open and retyped as well as damaged. It is missing multiple parts including; casters, gas lift, all hardware, both angle brackets for backrest, seat angle mechanism, and dust covers etc. The parts that did arrive were still in original packaging, and undamaged or opened. Seat and backrest, look to be nice quality and well built. I have message both the shipper through Amazon and a direct email to gtracingchair.com. If I get a quick reply and replacement of missing parts, I will update my review.Update. Seller contacted quicker then what Amazon said. They have been great to work with with quick reply to messages. Looking forward to receiving missing components. The only hang up with this process is Amazon’s messaging system. Very clunky, and poorly thought out. It is had to follow especially when using multiple devices, but that is not the seller’s fault.I had another, fairly decent, chair for a "big guy" but the recline function would slip occasionally. Plus, it didn't have the best armrests. This chair is AWESOME on all counts. I'm pushing 300 lbs and needed a comfy chair for my "man-cave". This one fit the bill. It was fairly easy to assemble and it really cradles a person nicely. Smooth operation and the recliner locks into place nicely. I can't say enough positive things about this fine chair. The vendor got it to me quickly and the packaging was both sturdy and well padded/wrapped. I am so glad I've given this one a try and now I have an extra, decent, chair for a guest but no-one's getting this one, It's MINE. It makes the perfect "Captain's" chair. LOL I would highly recommend this purchase for anyone wanting good arm rests and a well built item. (I did add the "roller blades style" casters for the rugs.)**EDIT**I was, and am, amazed at the speed with which they responded to my inquiry. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING!!! I was missing a couple of items, merely cosmetic, and reached out to them for replacements. They responded, very quickly, and very politely, and immediately shipped what I needed and then some. {An entire set of hardware.} I can't state how refreshing it is to have such wonderful service when I didn't even have to gripe. KUDOS. I would, highly, recommend buying from these folks.I dont write reviews often, only when an item really exceeds my expectations. This is a nice, well made chair. The cushion is thick and you feel well supported, while sitting or reclining. Its the thickest cushion ive seen on amazon, even in higher priced models. Im extremely pleased with my purchase, and i think you will be too.Got this for a good deal on prime day. I spent a lot of time looking at different chairs. I wanted a good chair for a decent price and finally settled on this. After putting it together, its very sturdy and easily the most comfortable chair Ive ever sat in. Im very glad I chose this chair because after reading chair reviews online everything else seems so expensive.Delayed my review for roughly a month to get a better feel of how this chair is working out. Overall, it's a pretty comfy chair and fairly functional for my day to day work-at-home self. I selected this one because it has pretty much all the functions I was looking for and the price was decent. That being said, I do have a few issues to address.....1. First thing I did was unbox and inspect all of the separate parts before beginning the assembly process. That's when I found what's shown in the pics. In the front of the seat itself there are two small slices just above the bottom seam (see pics). While these are relatively small (roughly 1.5 cm each) I expect after time and regular usage they may become problematic.2. There is a somewhat annoying squeak/creaking sound from the base of the left side armrest. The assembly instruction mentions this in a FAQ section and I have attempted to follow these directions, but the creaking persists (also, the screw where this sound emanates refuses to completely tighten).3. I wound up purchasing different casters (3" rollerblade replacements) after about a week since the original casters seemed somewhat resistant to rolling freely when doing things like pushing away from my desk on a smooth uncarpeted hardwood floor. The Good: Although I realize the biggest question with these chairs is longevity and I have only had this one for a short time, If you are lucky enough to still find it at it's current price (around 150) i promise you wont find a better chair anywhere close. It is MILES ahead of the "GT0XX" Series in both comfort AND durability. The Bad: It arrived looking like it had been thrown off the truck at 65 mph on their way by.The Better: The Customer Service obtaining a replacement was a breath of fresh air. Even with photos, receipts and tracking information it's becoming difficult to get anyone to take responsibility for damaged or defective products. My experience with their CS restored my faith in support after a sale. In a world where people just basically suck, GTR Customer Support returned the smile to my face.
