The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I believe it is misleading to call this item leather, even if it is preceded by “PU.” (I had to look it up - "PU leather" is POLYURETHANE “leather,” or plastic “leather.”) I find it disingenuous (at best) to infer that this a natural product in a purposefully deceptive way. Ok, got that out of the way.Since I don't have any sensitivities to polyurethane, this item does the job I bought it for and does it well. I've only had it a day, but it seems like it will be quite durable. I'm unsure of how easy it will be to clean because it's got a slight felt texture to it - it's not a slick and clean type surface like I was expecting. It says it's supposed to be easy to clean, so I'm choosing to trust that is the case. It sure makes my desk look great - I damaged the top awhile ago with several little drill holes and it has several scratches it has earned over the many years it's been around, so while it still functions beautifully it was looking pretty bad. This desk mat fixed all that. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.I just got a new wooden table top for my desk and this is the perfect way for natural wear and tear to keep from happening on the wood.I can get more time with a great looking topI have two of these for two tables that are exposed to the sun. They feel just like leather. They clean easily. You can cut them to fit your table. I've had these for several years now and they both appear just like I just bought them, with no signs of wear. They keep my computer from sliding all over the table. This is a nice alternative vegan pad instead of using real leather.This will be easy to clean and it will hold up very wellVery nice and big. Covered my desk about 95% which was nice. Felt like a new desk.I bought the clear protector for my desk, but it doesn’t work with my Magic Mouse. It also creates a lot of little bubbles underneath which looks very unappealing.My desk shows every fingerprint, so I ordered this to help with that. It was easy to unroll and fits perfectly.Firstly, this desk blotter doesn’t look like leather, but it does look very nice.My old desk blotter was clear (see top half of my photo), but I never really liked it. It felt like the clear, plastic tracks that some people put over their carpet to protect it from dirt—cheesy and conspicuous. I decided to try upgrading to something else, but real leather options were insanely expensive. Even though I didn't like the clear blotter, I was nervous that, with my all-white office furniture, a colored blotter would look cluttered/distracting. Turns out, I really love it. I think this shade of brown blends in surprisingly well, and it adds some warmth, visually, to my room.Functionally speaking, this blotter is MUCH better, too:Firstly, the pebbled surface feels way better on my skin because I don't stick to it. :P (My old, clear blotter had a plastic feel that made my forearms almost INSTANTLY get sweaty. Every time I moved my mouse, I'd either stick or slip, depending on how long I'd been resting my arm. Note: I do not run hot! I'm usually cold.)Second, this mat is a lot bigger, so I can use more of my desk (60" x 24" versus my clear mat, which was only 34" x 17"). I didn't expect size to matter, but, folks, it totally does. Now, I can move my monitor and laptop stand further away from my chair, which gives me a lot more room to work. I couldn't do that with the smaller mat, because if anything was straddling the edge of the mat, it wobbled or leaned.I was so unsure of this purchase, that I actually tried to cancel it, but I’m so glad that I wasn’t able.The product appears okay, reasonable packaging, and the "mouse pad" is a nice touch. However, I waited two months for this product only to be shipped the wrong size. The pad that arrived is only 24"x48" (a size which does not appear as an option). This item is too expensive and takes too long to ship/arrive for this to occur. I was able to sell the item to a colleague and avoid any possible return/refund issues. I will not order another product from this company as a result.Looks great, sits well - once flattened out, I put a couple of heavy books on the mat as it comes rolled up. As for durability, time will tell.
