It doesn’t adhere to the surface (or doesn’t that I noticed) so if you put your headphones close to the tip of the arm, it’s a bit top heavy. If the base was a bit weighted, that would help but overall, really good for the price.I got two of these stands for under 10 dollars each and...well the saying "you get what you pay for" really sums up my experience with these. Each stand consists of three pieces that you have to stick together. The issue is that the plastic top piece and bottom stand piece have plastic connection points that are too big to fit with the metal standing piece in the middle. That means u have to either hammer in the pieces together or slam it against the ground like I did. I thought it was just a one off manufacturing issue but my other stand had the same issue. Nonetheless, it holds up my headphones just fineNice product. Does the job. Looks good on the desk. It was a little tough to put the pieces together. The tolerances were really tight with the arm and the base, but with the help of a rubber hammer and some adroit banging, it's all good!Bought this for my husband. It was quite tough to put all the pieces together myself but I suppose that makes it sturdy. Seems useful enough but feels like headphones could slip off it pretty easily. It does it's job. The pieces took some pounding to fit together, mostly together. It's sturdy enough. It's very lightweight, so don't expect it to stay in one spot on its own. It's inexpensive, so it does it's job as expected. I had no expectations beyond that, when I purchased it for my desk at work. I mean what do you expect for $7USD? I was not disappointed.Just what I needed to keep my headset and various USB-C and 3.5mm adapters together! It's a bit tough to put together because the pieces fit so tightly together, but I'd rather that than have it be flimsy!Easy to assemble and sturdy plasticI purchased two, one for each of my sons, and it’s exactly what we needed. The stand is very simple to assemble (just three pieces to attach to each other) and even though it’s only meant to hold light headphones, I appreciate how sturdy it is. The base doubles as a spot to store USB drives or batteries. I would definitely recommend.
