When this desk arrived, the packaging had been shredded and there was damage to the white plastic surface of the desktop as well as damage to the fiberboard that the desk was made out of. Sending it back was impossible since the packaging had been destroyed. I asked the vendor to solve the problem, and they offered to ship it back to replace it or to give me a discount. I took the relatively large discount and am living with a pretty imperfect - but usable - desk.Living with it is fun and helpful, though: the desk is easy to assemble, works well and is stable, raising and lowering is smooth, and it rolls nicely even over carpet. So I get to use my bedroom for video calls and studying, which keeps peace in my house! The one problem of this design is that when the desk is lowered, the entire unit is much deeper than when the desk is raised. This means keeping it in a closet is impossible unless you raise it all the way up. So be sure to measure the space you want to store it in and raise it before storing.
